This demo offers an early look at the core loop: managing your roster, sending teams on missions, collecting rewards, and making strategic choices as your operation grows.
About Myself
Hello everyone!
I’m Lorenzo, a 28-year-old fan of cyberpunk, idle games, and management sims. In my free time, I decided to combine those interests into a small game project.
IDLEPUNK adapts personal stories I originally wrote for fun in 2024 into a story-focused idle management game. While the core loop is built around recruiting operatives, managing resources, and running contracts, my goal is to make the world and its characters the heart of the experience.
This demo currently includes a short tutorial and an early look at the gameplay systems. More quests are planned, but they are still being adapted and polished.
I’m sharing this mainly to gauge interest and collect feedback. I’d especially love to hear what feels fun, what feels off, and which mechanics or parts of the interface are unclear or confusing.
PS - About save data
I’m still unsure how itch.io handles browser local-storage saves. Everything should work but If you plan to return later, I recommend exporting your save and pasting it into a notepad and importing it back in case of wipe using the buttons at the bottom of the page.

Recommendations:
- Vertical roster, also can't scroll with mousewheel
- Put the right frame (rep/quests) in something collapsible/hideable
- Add an active mission indicator on top frame once in progress so you know when its complete
Bugs:
- Latest signal button in recruitment nonfunctional
- Semi-softlocked quests by selecting featured partner before quest, causes 40m~ wait
Played for 30m before the England Norway game, will come back later!
Left panel is not scrollable. As the result "Passive" panel can be invisible.
Another problem: if "Show Advanced Settings" disabled, but there were non-zero values, some interface elements jutter on every update (temporarely change font size). Reducing said values to 0 fixes the issue.
